Kyan's teeth are bothering him big time :-(

We are hoping this is almost over, it seems to take 3 bad days to get over it, lo grade fever, major crankiness or frustration. Brian brought him to the dr yesterday to make sure he didn't have an infection in his mouth. He didn't , so that was good. On Saturday, Kyan had really bad odd smelling breath, it made me think he had an infection in there. When he cried, I saw behind his front tooth, it looked grey and white, so I thought, oh man, looks like either another tooth is coming in where it is not supposed to be or he cut it and it is grey and infected. it looked a lot better on Sunday, no real smell anymore but I wanted to make sure. So the Dr said it was a gum virus, like when you get a cold and it affects your nose and throat, well this affects his gum. Brian brushed Kyan's teeth before they went to the dr and they bled like crazy he said. So right now, we are just giving him milk and drinks and anything he will eat, he won't eat a heck of a lot right now.

He woke up today in a great mood, so hopefully, he will eat more today and be on the road to recovery. Yesterday at school he only had jello and lots of milk

Swimming, Sprinklers and Soccer

This weeked, we went swimming, played in the sprinkers and watched dadd play soccer.

Kyan did very well swimming, he is starting to kick his feet and paddle, when he is in the mood of course. He jumped off the side while sitting, so that was good and he went under some more.

While I was finishing up ready Harry Potter, Dadda took Kyan outside and yelled inside if I wanted to come see what they were up too. Well lo and behold, a 1/2 nudie boy was out there...(it was Kyan) running around. He had fun, he likes to make big circles and we were hoping he wasn't gonna run into a pole or the fence

Yup, he scored again. It was a great goal. A teammate had the ball on the right sideline, passed it, yes i said passed it to Brian, he turned, I think dribbled once and shot a rocket passed the goalie GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLL. I wasn't quite ready with the camcorder yet, but I saw it at least

David Beckham's look-a-like

Here is Kyan's best impersonation of David Beckham to date

DIRT

Brian showed Kyan my birthmark I have on my stomach and told him it was dirt. so now brian asks Kyan what it is, and it if it is fresh in his mind he will say dirt, pronounciating the t, if it is not fresh in his mind, he calls it a boo boo

another funny thing, he is such a mimicker now. we went out to eat last night and sat outside, so there were a few flies, and brian waved his hand at one, well guess what lil guy did. it was so funny, he is now swatting around but he really has no idea at waht. quite funny

GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL

He shoots he scores!!!!!! Brian scored his first goal in GUNNER history yesterday. It was very exciting. They went into halftime tied at 1-1, then one of their players got hurt so they ran out a gas and had no subs. But Brian scored to tie the game up so that was exciting. They played good for 60 minutes.

Santa Monica Pier

Today the gang went to Santa Monica Pier. Brian said Kyan rode his first ride all by himself. It sounds like it was an airplane ride, but he didn't figure out how to make it go up and down, which probably is a good thing. Pictures will be posted tomorrow about the trip

On a sad note: it sounds like Beckham may not be playing on Saturday, his ankle is still giviug him trouble. Well he better at least be walking across the field or something

This morning when I got out of the shower, I coudl hear one of Kyan's cars going brooommmm bbbrrrroommmm. I said to Brian, is Kyan up or is your mom playing with one of Kyan's cars. Kyan was still in bed...Just kidding, he woke up and Grandma got him out of the crib and was playing on the floor with him when I got out there.

Busy Busy Busy

Grandma came into town and today they are all going to the LA Zoo. I think thursday, they are going to the Orange County Fair. that should be fun, I am sure there will be lots of rides Kyan can go on.

Yesterday, was Brian's first soccer game. He played well. He team needs to tell a few people on his team that they are a team and need to pass the ball. It was fun to watch even though they got smoked. Brian has a nasty scrape on his left leg where he slid but the problem is/was, it is hard dry dirt so it cut him up pretty bad. They have another practice on Wed night I think, so hopefully that will help. Their uniforms, did look nice though.


We have been playing Wii and in the fitness part, I am like a 29 year old Mii, Brian is a 39 year old and Grandma is 66. It is pretty funny. Today I am experiencing a little soreness in my bicep. Ahhh, the rigors of training

Belated Happy Fourth of July, Kyan made this at school
Brian had soccer practice so Kyan and i went across the street on the way to lake balboa and on our way back I saw a little frog. I showed it to Kyan, who at first was not interested because he was kicking his soccer ball, but then realized, hey that moves. We probably watched it for 20 minutes and we were both squatting down to see it and Kyan would say ribbit ribbit, he tried to touch it once , I think he got it. But it is so small, I didn't want him to squish it. Here are a few pictures from it

Yes it is hot here, but.....

that doesn't stop the lil guy. They are going to Disneyland today and Brian put on his baseball hat. Kyan is saying hat hat hat, so they only one Brian can find.....yup a nice fleece winter hat, so guess who is driving to Disneyland with a hat on....Hopefully he will fall asleep on the way there and they can remove it. I told Brian, maybe you can buy him a baseball hat there and that would work for him

Talking and such

I have been really busy at work, so hopefully after next week, I can post stuff almost everyday. I will try to take video of Kyan talking and then post it. Might be tricky but I will try.

He did very well at Kat's house last night for the 4th. Unfortunately, he didn't really take a nap yesterday so he ended up falling asleep at about 8:30 and missed the fireworks. I will show him my pictures I took and he will relive them that way.

He had a blast playing ball with Kat's dog Cha Cha. he would go looking for her calling CHAAAAA CHAAAAA. it was cute

We also went to Travel Town to see and play on the trains. Kyan was outta control, he loved them. We went on the lil train that took you around travel town 3 times.

I think for 4th of July, we are going to Santa Clarita. Brian thought it would be fun to find a parade since Kyan loves flags, so I found one there that also has a pancake breakfast before hand. Sounds fun to me
