Is this how most dr appts are??
Here are some silly dr pix
I know most of go to the doctors and take off our clothes, but should he really be this relaxed? He had a very good 18 month checkup, not shots, yahoooo. He goes at the end of Sept for Hep B shot. Everything else was good, he is 26.something lbs, 33.something inches. He is in the 95% of head size, 75% for height and 50% for weight. We got a lot of questions answered so that was good. He is teething big time, he has a molar on boht sides where the outside it already out but the inside has not broken through yet. Best we can tell, he is at least 4 teeth coming in

MOOOOOOO and Bilingual Boy
Well, well. Look what I found today. Poor Cow has been in the vanity since Aunt Cindy and Meg left.
Yesterday, at daycare, Miss Maria was in Kyan's room. She told Brian she was impressed how well he can feed himself with a spoon and that he says a few words in spanish to them. That is pretty cool. Our little bilingual boy
Today Kyan is 1 1/2 years old, the big 18 months, Yup. It is crazy how old he is now

Bruises Bruises and More Bruises
I thought I would just post a few random pictures. One is of Jessie and the other is when Brian and Kyan met me for breakfast at work one day
Kyan's leg's from his knees to ankles pretty much is one big bruise. I guess he trips alot while playing but never really cries when he whacks his legs.
We walked to Salsa and Beer last night. He is getting quite good at feeding himself with a spoon. He barely dropped any. Brian said this am Kyan had 3 bowls of rice crispies and barely spilled any.
Not much else to report, the mask is going pretty well. If Sesame Street is one, that distracts him for the most part.

Cotton Candy, I love you, and much much more
Kyan started saying I love you when we say it to him. Yes, it melts you. Brian said Kyan said it yesterday when I shut the sliding glass door to leave for work yesterday. Then last night when we were putting him to be he said it. Totally cute
Now, on to cotton candy. We went to the Galaxy game on Sunday night. Brian wanted cotton candy. The guy was a few rows below us and I pretended that I didn't know he wanted it. Kyan was locked into the guy, not blinking , just following his every move. Finally I gave Brian money and he had to get the guy like 2 sections away. So morale of the story, Kyan and Brian both love cotton candy as you can tell from the pictures.
Kyan is loving the pool and swimming these days. He is doing really well, blows out of his mouth when he comes up outta the water. Here is a link of a swimming video and a few others. (you are gonna leave this site if you click on it now--you might want to keep reading then go back to the videos)
Kyan was being silly here and pulled out the hat Aunt Jennifer made him, and we decided it was chilly in LA and he needed to wear it, yes he has the off the shoulder tank top on too, but that is to show his muscles
And one last picture of Kyan showing off that he is eating from a spoon now. I think moving to the next room at school has really showed him how to do new things, one being feeding himself better from forks or spoons. Another thing he has done is coloring more. His fathers day card that he wrote to Brian showed this, he really was able to scribble with a pen and before, he would only do it for a second or two .
One last thing, we are making this blog for everyone to enjoy and it works a lot better if people interact by leaving comments or letting us know it they like/read it.
