I brought Kyan to the dr yesterday morning. Saturday night he woke up coughing and crying, put him back to bed, then again and again. Finally brought him into my bed and with in a few minutes, threw up. ARGHHH
That night he was up all night, every 10-20 minutes, he would cry in pain and couldn't get comfortable.
Finally at 6:15am we gave hime advil and he wanted to go to sleep in his bed. You know something was up if that was the case. He slept for about 2 hours and was still warm when he got up.
the dr says he has a virus. His throat is very red, ears are a mess. She told us to give him cough med at night, nose spray once in the am, claratin in the am. And hopefully it will clear him up and he will be better.
She said to keep him home for a few days.
He stayed home Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday(today) Brian is taking him to play mini golf. Sunday he was very blah, never got off the couch until about noon or so, just wanted to lay around.
He actually took naps on Sunday and Monday willingly.
Hopefully Brian will take a few mini golf pictures with hi phone and I can post them later.
Foster and I are at Saturn waiting to get Scarlet's oil chamged.

Pictures and Videos
Yeah Yeah Yeah I know, it has been a while. Here are some pictures from the last month or so. I will upload videos over night, I think it might take a while
Here are some updates, Foster is getting big, we take him to the dr on Aug 21 for his 2 month checkup so we will get official stats on him. Unofficially I have him at 23" long according to measuring him on the changing table and 11 1/2 lbs on Aug 1.
Kyan is doing good, still gives Foster lots of hugs and kisses.
These pictures are from around the house, the zoo, dca, and from the fair. As for the videos, there are some fair videos, and yes the infamous one is there.
Brian's soccer team lost its first game, but.... they are still in first place, they are 3-1 I believe. They are playing like a real team now, it is fun to watch how much better the have gotten

OC Fair
Last week, we went to the OC Fair, it was fun. Kyan had a blast, went on a lot of rides and even came home with a new best friend. Brian, Kyan and I rode on Kitty, the 40 yr old elephant. That was fun, the whole time Kyan was laughing, and with each step Kitty took, Brian and I would go woaaaah, wooahhhhh. Video is coming, I will upload that tomorrow.
Kyan also won a gold fish, ok I will be honest, if you play 10 times you automatically win one. He loved it, you can tell by the pictures how much he was in awww to have it. Kyan and Daddy went down the big slide, video coming also. The only thing he didn't like was he went into an attraction which had balls, rope ladder, slides and a few other things and he went to the second level and there was a enclosed slide. We weren't aloud to go in with him, so he got scared, he didn't quite get the enclosed slide. The workers had to help him and bypass the slide and then he finished the fun.
We also went into another attraction, it was one of those things where the floor was uneven, and moved, to start, you had to go through a rotating cirlce thing. You had to walk through it. Ok can you see where this is going??? I was trying to figure out the best way to help Kyan through it. Well I obviously chose wrong. I tried to hold both his hand and I dind't walk fast enough, well I wiped out BIG time, don't worry, Brian got it on tape, YES I think we can win $10K. So I al sliding all around trying to get up, Kyan made it to the other side some how, and I am still floundering. I finally got up and had the worker dude turn off the rotating thing so I could walk through.
Anyways, now that you stopped laughing, here are the pictures

Some 1 month pix of Foster
I took some 1 month pictures of Foster yesterday. Hard to believe he is a month old already. He is getting big, his cheeks are getting chubby. He pretty much eats all the time. Eats, sleeps, poops and hiccups.
Tomorrow we are going to the OC Fair, that should be fun. Last year, Brian, Kyan and Grandma went and had fun, so we will all go this time.
Funny story, the other day, we got a Build A Bear in the mail for Foster's arrival. Kyan was playing with it and decided he needed to feed it. He called it his baby. So what does he do? Holds it like how I hold Foster when I feed him, lifts up his shirt and puts his baby to his skin. It was so funny and so cute. He has done it a few times since then, but it was very funny.
Here are the pictures of Foster and a few from our trip to DCA.

Our First Post with our changes
here is the first entry of our new blog
Kyan and Foster are doing great. Kyan is adjusting well and loves to kiss Foster and check on him and make sure he is ok. He likes to kiss him and make sure he still has his toes and hands
let me give you a little info on how things went before the delivery.
on Friday. I took a nap and woke up around 4pm. My stomach felt kinda blah, almost like cramps but it was more of a constant pressure that wouldn't really go away. I wasn't crampy, but more of a constant pressure that just felpt different from before. I think I have felt it before, but for some reason, it wouldn't really go away. I called our Dr and like you found our he wasn't on call until 9pm that night, kinda shocking. Anyways, the dr on call called back and this was one of the days that we lost power and was hot out again, so she wanted to make sure it wasn't dehydration. She said go home(we were picking up Kyan) drink water, lay down and see if it goes away. If it doesn't go away, go to the hospital and have them monitor you to see if you are having contractions. I tried that, also ate something, since if we were going to the hospital, I wanted to make sure I ate a little something. The feeling didn't go away. So we went to the hospital around 7pm.
When the checked me I was 2 cm, when I went to our dr on Wed he said there was no real changed from the last week, so at least we know something was brewwing.
They called my dr and waited until aroudn 9pm and he said if I wanted to stay I could or we could monitor things from home. With now feeling the contractions, I felt much more comfortable staying there since we asked what we would be looking for at home. we decided, it is not like you are gonna go home to sleep, since you are feeling pain, I would rather stay if that was ok.
We good thing we did. It was kinds funny, I was laying there thinking, hmm, I don't really feel any contractions for a while, except for 2 not too long ago. Well, I got up to pee and thought, hmm, something is a little moist down there. I looked on the bed and there was yellowish mustard color here and there. Brian went out to get the nurse to see if my water broke. She sadi yup, back in bed. Said it looks like the baby pooped inside. So now when the baby comes they will have th NICU team here to check the baby and slurp out the lungs and whatever else of the meconium if there was any there. So after they cleaned that all up, she checked me again and I was 5cm. Yahooo, we are getting somewhere, and we were thinking, boy I am glad we didn't go home.
So my water broke at 1:25am, after that, they called for an epidural since I didn't want to get too far ahead before they say nope too late. So the epidural was in at about 2:10am, the catheter put in right after that(you do't feel anything) now at least I don't have worry about peeing anymore.
So as it was getting later, like around 5-6am, I could feel a littel more pressure towards my bottom. No urge to push but more like someone was pushing on me lightly. We told the nurse, she checked me again, and we have been telling them how Kyan came quick. She said OK, no pushing, we are calling Dr Kohn NOW to get here. He came in about 6:50, checked me, said yup we are ready. They got the last minute things ready and we soon started to push. He had to tell me when since I couldn't feel the contractions. I think we pushed 4 rounds worth and Foster came out at 7:04am
We didn't know whether the baby was a boy or a girl, cause the NICU team was doing their thing, while just his head was out, then the cord I think was around the neck, not babdly, then it was dangling down his body when they put him on me. Brian was saying, I can't tell what it is, I can't tell, they moved the cord, and the reast was history.I would say little Foster was here but I guess we shoudl say Big Foster is here.
So he was born 8lb 15 ounces, but left the hospital 8lbs 5 ounces. We go to the ped on Thursday to have hsi first appt beside when she saw him in the hosp.
So that is the quick version of the story.
here are the pictures we took
